What about broken bones?

Fractures are divided into first-aid treatment and general treatment. First-aid treatment includes resuscitation of shock, wound dressing and proper immobilization; general treatment includes repositioning, immobilization, functional exercise and recovery. 1. First-aid treatment: particularly serious fractures, such as pelvic fracture and femur fracture, need to pay attention to the patient’s general condition. (1) Rescue shock: if the patient is in shock due to excessive blood loss, attention should be paid to keeping the patient warm, minimizing moving, and fluids and blood transfusion should be given immediately when possible. (2) Dressing the wound: open fractures should be dressed with clean cloths to reduce recontamination, while the pressure dressing also has the effect of hemostasis. (3) Proper fixation: Fix the fracture part and then move the patient to prevent the fracture broken end from damaging the surrounding important tissues, such as blood vessels, nerves and internal organs in the process of moving. 2. General treatment: The general principles of treatment after fracture are reduction, immobilization, functional exercise and recovery. (1) Repositioning: to restore the displaced fracture segment to normal or near-normal anatomical relationship and to rebuild the scaffolding effect of bone. (2) Fixation: Maintaining the fracture in the position after reduction and allowing it to heal with good alignment. (3) Functional exercise and recovery: without affecting the fixation, to restore the diastolic function of muscles, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues of the diseased limb as soon as possible. Early and reasonable functional exercise and rehabilitation can prevent osteoporosis, joint stiffness and promote fracture healing. After the fracture, you should go to the hospital in time, and the doctor will do the appropriate treatment measures according to the patient’s condition.
