Cladribine can treat acute myeloid leukemia.
Cladribine is a purine analog, which has a killing effect on both proliferative and non-proliferative cells, and also exerts demethylation by indirectly inhibiting DNA methylation transferase and depleting methyl donors, thus promoting apoptosis, and therefore, has a killing effect on leukemia cells.
Cladribine is often used in combination with drugs such as cytarabine and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia. Cladribine is contraindicated in allergic patients, and its use may cause adverse reactions such as fever, headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, and bone marrow suppression.
Leukemia patients who need to use the above drugs, should go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to use the drug treatment, early treatment, in order to improve the patient’s symptoms.
