What are the symptoms of spondylosis

Spondylosis is characterized by pain around the spine, limited movement, numbness and weakness of the limbs or even paraplegia if the nerves are compressed, and the symptoms are different in different parts of the body.
Common spinal diseases include cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis and ankylosing spondylitis.
1. Cervical spondylosis is mainly characterized by neck and shoulder pain, restricted movement, numbness of fingers due to compression of nerves, insufficient blood supply to the brain due to compression of the vertebral basilar artery, causing dizziness and other symptoms, and if the condition is serious enough, compression of cervical spinal cord may lead to high paraplegia.
2. Lumbar intervertebral disc herniation is mainly for lumbar pain and leg pain and leg numbness, lumbar spinal stenosis is mainly for lower limb numbness and weakness, walking intermittent claudication, and in severe cases, it may lead to urinary and fecal incontinence or paraplegia of the upper and lower limbs.
3. In case of ankylosing spondylitis, it is usually pain in the whole spine, pain at night, morning stiffness, and limitation of spinal curvature activities.
