HPV is a human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, which is divided into high-risk HPV infection and low-risk HPV infection. High-risk HPV infection, which persists for a long time, can easily lead to the development of cervical cancer. Low-risk HPV infection is prone to the occurrence of condyloma acuminata. Once the body’s immunity is low, symptoms will appear after exposure to viral infection, so it is recommended that women should be screened for HPV every year. If there is a problem with the screening, further liquid-based cytology is needed to make appropriate treatment based on the test results, and immunity needs to be boosted.
