What to do if you get water in your ear from swimming

Swimming with water in the ear can take a dry cotton swab to wipe, hair dryer to blow dry, side of the head to gently pull the auricle and so on.
Swimming pool due to more bacteria, if the ear for a long time into the water, may lead to bacteria with the water invasion into the ear canal, a long time without cleaning may induce ear inflammation, such as otitis media, otitis externa.
You can use a dry cotton swab to reach into the ear canal and suck the water out. If there is still residual water, you can use a hair dryer to dry it out, or you can tilt your head to the side, tap or pull on the ear screen, and then perform a one-legged bounce to force the water to flow out due to gravity.
If you find ear pain or other discomforts after swimming, it is recommended to go to the hospital for treatment, and you can’t use medication privately to avoid aggravating the condition.
