Children’s toothache does not exist how to stop pain quickly and effectively, there may be tooth decay, pulpitis, periapical inflammation and other diseases caused by local treatment, systemic treatment and other measures to regulate.
1. Dental caries: related to bacteria, food and other factors, dentin is damaged, thus causing toothache in children. Treatment should first remove the decayed material, local sterilization, and choose suitable materials for filling.
2. Pulpitis: Mostly secondary to deep caries, it also causes toothache in children. Treatment should first remove the food debris and softened dentin in the pulp cavity, followed by local use of small cotton balls soaked with clove oil and camphorated phenol into the pulp cavity; the symptoms can also be relieved by opening the pulp and decompressing it. Root canal treatment is carried out at a later stage to preserve the affected tooth.
3. Periapical inflammation: Inflammation of the tissues around the root tip of the tooth can also cause toothache in children.
(1) Local treatment: the pulp can be opened to decompress; abscess formation, need to incise and drain; after the inflammation subsides to take root canal treatment.
(2) Systemic treatment: such as penicillin, cephalosporin and other antibiotic anti-infection treatment.
Children’s toothache, there may be other reasons, need to go to the hospital in time to check, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment. Drugs should be used under the guidance of a physician.
