How to treat vertebral bone fracture displacement

Vertebral fracture displacement is considered to be the result of an external force on the vertebral body, leading to a displaced vertebral fracture. If the fracture is in the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar vertebrae, it is usually treated with surgery. In the case of a displaced tailbone fracture, conservative treatment can be used if the fracture is not serious. If the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine fracture displacement is obvious, the vertebral body is unstable, and the nerves and spinal cord are compressed, this case should be actively treated with surgery, early incision and repositioning, fixation, spinal cord decompression, and restoration of the vertebral body height and physiological curvature of the spine. If the nerves are affected, part of the bone should be surgically removed to relieve the nerve compression. If the tailbone fracture is displaced, bed rest can be used to promote fracture healing. For displacement, manipulation can be taken to reset. If the result is not satisfactory, caudal osteotomy can be done. After the fracture and displacement of the vertebrae, it is necessary to carry out treatment as soon as possible under the guidance of the doctor to avoid delaying the condition.
