Why do tinnitus patients need any tests

Transcranial Doppler is a kind of ultrasound examination. It applies a certain frequency of directional fine-tuned pulsed probe to directly record the echo pulse wave in the cranium or neck at a certain depth, and after computer analysis and processing, it displays the waveform, systolic blood flow velocity, diastolic blood flow velocity, average blood flow velocity and beat index of the detected blood vessels and other parameters, which can provide a basis for doctors to diagnose cervical spondylosis and other intracranial ischemic diseases. Many tinnitus patients are caused by insufficient blood supply to the ear or cervical spondylosis, and TCD can check the blood supply to the ear and provide a basis for treatment.
