Interventional treatment is an emerging clinical treatment technology after internal medicine and surgery. It is different from both medicine and injection in internal medicine and open surgery in surgery, but it is a discipline that relies on the guidance of medical imaging equipment, uses puncture and catheter technology to diagnose and treat diseases, and focuses on treatment. It has the advantages of less trauma, better efficacy and fewer complications. 1.Uterine fibroids and adenomyosis: The catheter technique is used to block the blood supply artery of the fibroids, so that the fibroids are deprived of blood supply – “starving” the fibroids. After treatment, the fibroids shrink, thus eliminating the related symptoms and preserving the uterus and reproductive function. 2.Infertility caused by tubal lesions: Uterine and fallopian tube imaging is performed first, and the narrowed or occluded part of the fallopian tube is recanalized and treated with medication using guide wires and catheters according to the imaging condition. At present, this method has become the preferred means of treatment for this condition. 3.Gynecological malignant tumor: Using interventional technology, the catheter is super-selected to the blood supply artery of the tumor and high concentration of anti-tumor drugs are injected directly into the tumor tissue to kill the tumor cells, which has the advantages of no pain, good efficacy and small systemic side effects.
