Progesterone is high in the morning or in the afternoon

Progesterone, also known as progesterone, can be measured in a woman’s blood after pregnancy to reflect early embryo implantation and growth and development. Progesterone, being a hormone, does not change much in terms of elevation or decrease during the day, but the range of progesterone changes after pregnancy is large and can range from tens to hundreds of milligrams, so the change between the morning measurement and the afternoon measurement should not be much different, as long as it is within the normal range. A certain amount of high level of progesterone after pregnancy is beneficial in relaxing the smooth muscles of the uterus, which facilitates embryo implantation and growth, and also promotes the body’s immune function. Progesterone is secreted by the ovaries during the third trimester of pregnancy and by the embryonic disc after the third trimester. Therefore, large fluctuations in progesterone levels during a woman’s third trimester of pregnancy may lead to preterm abortion.
