Cervical polyps should be removed promptly. Cervical polyp is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis, caused by the proliferation of mucosal tissue in the cervical canal, forming one or more small red bulges protruding from the outside of the cervical opening. Most patients do not have obvious clinical symptoms, only found during physical examination, a small number of patients can be manifested as sexual contact or gynecological examination, there is bleeding or vaginal bleeding dripping. Most of the cervical polyps are benign lesions, with a malignant rate of 1%-2%, so they should be removed surgically in time, with regular post-operative review and timely treatment of cervicitis and vaginitis to prevent cervical polyps from growing again. Regular cervical cancer screening is especially important because cervical cancer is a preventable and treatable disease and its onset is stage-specific.
