What are the characteristics of premature ovarian failure

Premature ovarian failure is characterized by irregular menstruation, changes in hormone levels, and cardiovascular system diseases.

Premature ovarian failure refers to the early decline of ovarian function in women at the age of 40, when menstruation becomes abnormal, with scanty menstruation, reduced menstrual flow and even amenorrhea symptoms.

Due to the changes in hormone levels (mainly the lack of estrogen), it is manifested as decreased libido, atrophic vaginitis, atrophic urethritis such as frequent and painful urination, and so on.

There may also be dizziness, chest tightness and shortness of breath, poor sleep quality and other characteristics after premature ovarian failure, and low estrogen will increase the incidence of cardiovascular disease.

In normal life, pay attention to healthy diet, eat more food containing dietary fiber, do not eat high-fat food.
