Chinese medicine treatment of thrombocytopenia is mainly through the identification of Chinese medicine given orally. It can be treated with medicines such as Ten Ash San and Xi Gen San.
Thrombocytopenia is mainly diagnosed as “blood evidence” and “purple spot” in TCM. Purple spot can be recognized as: blood-heat paranoia (heat evil causes blood to go out abnormally), yin-exuberance and fire-exuberance, and qi does not take in the blood and so on.
Patients with blood-heat paranoia syndrome can see purple spots or bleeding spots on the skin, or accompanied by nosebleeds, blood in stool, blood in urine, etc., with thirst, dry stools, red tongue, yellow moss, and slippery pulse, etc. The patient can be treated with Ten Ash San to clear heat and remove toxins. Ten gray powder can be used to clear heat and remove toxins, cool blood and stop bleeding.
Patients with Yin Sheng Huo Wang syndrome can see purple skin spots or bleeding spots, often accompanied by nosebleeds, excessive menstrual bleeding, etc., and can be accompanied by heartburn, thirst, emaciation, fever in the hands and feet, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up), etc., which can be used to nourish Yin and reduce fire, and ninliao to stop bleeding.
Patients with Qi not taking in blood syndrome can see ecchymosis of the skin, light color, shortness of breath, weakness, dizziness, loss of appetite, yellowish or pale face, and can use Gui Spleen Soup to tonify Qi and take in blood.
Drugs should be used under the guidance of a physician, not self-medication.
