Why does the heart beat so fast?

Frequent rapid heartbeats need to be analyzed specifically depending on what the cause is. A rapid heartbeat due to anger, overexertion, or after strenuous exercise is an increase in heart rate due to sympathetic excitement. It can be relieved by stabilizing emotions and rest. It can also be seen in menopausal women or young people during the developmental period, where frequent rapid heartbeats are caused by unstable plant nerve function. This condition can be improved by regulating the vegetative nerves and strengthening the contractility and conduction of the heart through exercise. It can also be seen in organic heart disease, such as rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, myocarditis, and coronary artery disease. These heart conditions can cause rapid heartbeat and require treatment of the primary disease along with improvement of the rapid heart rate.
