Clinical manifestations of osteoid osteoma

Osteoid osteoma is a relatively common benign tumor, an osteogenic tumor that occurs in adolescents, with characteristic clinical manifestations, as follows: 1. Pain is more obvious at night and will be relieved during the day; 2. Salicylic acid drugs can relieve pain well. Osteoid osteoma is a benign tumor and usually does not cause metastasis, but because it can cause local osteogenic destruction, which in turn leads to pain in the corresponding area, most patients need surgery if the symptoms are severe. The clinical manifestation of osteoid osteoma is mainly nocturnal pain, which can be relieved by salicylic acid drugs.
