Is normal stool color a sign of bowel cancer?

Normal stool color cannot determine whether it is bowel cancer. Early stage of colorectal cancer can have no obvious symptoms, so even if the color of stool is normal, it does not exclude the possibility of cancer. Colorectal cancer is a common tumor in digestive tract, the cause of which has not been completely clarified, and in the early stage of the disease, there can be no obvious symptoms. After the tumor progresses, there will be different clinical manifestations according to the different parts of its growth. Therefore, even if the color, amount, shape and other traits of stool are normal, the possibility of colorectal cancer cannot be ruled out. Symptoms of left colon cancer are mainly obstruction, change of bowel habit and fecal character; right colon cancer is mainly abdominal pain, abdominal mass and systemic symptoms, etc. Symptoms of rectal cancer are also similar to those of colon cancer, with change of bowel habit and fecal character. Therefore, to determine whether you have bowel cancer, you need to undergo further examinations such as CT, colonoscopy and physical examination. Regular physical examination is important for cancer screening, and patients with high risk factors for bowel cancer are recommended to have regular physical examination.
