How to treat benign tumors of the pancreas

If there are no obvious symptoms of benign tumor of the pancreas, special treatment may not be required for the time being, mainly regular review and attention to a light, low-fat diet to avoid inducing pancreatitis. In case of benign pancreatic tumor, if the nature cannot be determined, pancreatic cancer or benign pancreatic tumor is suspected, which repeatedly causes abdominal pain and is found to grow larger during regular review, surgery can also be considered in this case. Surgery is usually pancreaticoduodenectomy, which is more traumatic and more difficult to recover after surgery. However, for benign tumors of the pancreas, if the surgery is successful, the prognosis is very good and usually does not affect the survival period.
