Bleeding for a few days after hysteroscopic curettage

If diagnostic hysteroscopic curettage is performed, most of the bleeding does not last more than a week. If the bleeding lasts more than a week, it may be due to the following clinical reasons: 1) infection, resulting in unclean vaginal bleeding, often accompanied by lower abdominal pain; 2) primary disease, for example, if diagnostic curettage is performed in the case of endometrial cancer, the duration of vaginal bleeding may be prolonged. The final clinical diagnosis is based on the pathology. In addition, vaginal bleeding after hysteroscopy may be clinically caused by coagulation dysfunction or thrombocytopenia, which may lead to longer vaginal bleeding after curettage, and it is recommended to make a preliminary diagnosis through clinical examination and give appropriate treatment.
