Are lung striae foci cancer?

Pulmonary streaks are not cancer. Shadows or streaks on the lungs are not always considered to be tumors. In general, pulmonary streaks are the result of the repair process after the injury, and are the imaging manifestation of the lung that is left behind by the incomplete repair of the injury. Pneumonia, tuberculosis, or trauma to the lung, as well as other specific diseases, may manifest as fibrous striae if complete repair is not achieved during the healing process. For example, in pneumonia, if the area is relatively large, the inflammation is mostly absorbed after comprehensive treatment such as anti-infection and sputum treatment, but the absorption may not be complete, leaving fibrous lesions at a later stage. For example, if tuberculosis is completely absorbed after anti-tuberculosis treatment and partially healed, most of them will leave fibrous lesions in the lungs.
