Which indicator of semen quality testing is important

Semen quality test understands the quality of sperm by observing the vigor, concentration and morphology of the sperm, there is no indicator which is important, any one of the problems can lead to male infertility and so on. 1. Vitality of sperm: it refers to the ability of sperm to move. The World Health Organization classifies sperm vitality into four grades: a, b, c and d. The percentage of sperm a (fast forward movement) > 25% or a+b grade sperm (slow forward movement) > 50%. When sperm vitality is lower than the lower limit, weak spermatozoa is considered. 2. Sperm concentration: According to the World Health Organization, the reference value of sperm concentration is 20×10⁶/ml or more, and the lower limit of the reference value is 15×10⁶/ml. so when the sperm concentration is lower than the lower limit value, then it is considered as oligospermia. 3. Morphology of sperm: when the normal morphology of sperm is less than 4% of the total sperm, then it is not easy to fertilize the woman and it may be dyszoospermia. It is recommended that those whose test results suggest abnormality should go to the hospital in time.
