The survival time of pancreatic head cancer patients has no specific years, but needs to be analyzed according to specific factors such as the type and stage of tumor, patient’s physical condition and treatment methods. Early stage pancreatic head cancer has not yet developed distant metastases, and if patients are not contraindicated to surgery, they should strive for surgical resection, most of them have better prognosis and higher 5-year survival rate. If advanced pancreatic head cancer has distant metastases, such as liver metastases, mesenteric metastases and abdominal metastases, the treatment effect is poor and the survival period is short, the 5-year survival rate of most patients is less than 5% and the survival time is about half a year to one year. Patients with pancreatic head cancer should pay attention to eat less high-fat and indigestible food to avoid increasing the burden of liver, and should maintain a good attitude and actively cooperate with doctors to improve the disease and prolong the survival period.
