What’s wrong with children who keep blinking and tilting their mouths?

Children always blinking and tilting their mouths may be caused by physiological factors, or may be caused by Tourette’s syndrome, facial nerve palsy, and so on. 1. Physiological factors: children are naturally curious and have a strong ability to imitate, so if someone around them blinks a lot and has a crooked mouth, they may appear to imitate this situation. 2. Tourette’s syndrome: Tourette’s syndrome develops in children up to the age of 18 and is a mental behavioral problem that occurs mostly in children after the age of three. It is usually characterized by blinking, shrugging of the shoulders, tilting of the mouth and shaking of the limbs. Some children also have abnormal throat vocalizations. 3. Facial nerve paralysis: Facial nerve paralysis, also known as facial nerve injury, causes difficulty in closing the eyes on the affected side and dryness of the eye membranes, which results in frequent blinking on the healthy side and a crooked mouth. Children who always blink their eyes and have crooked mouths may have other causes. It is recommended to consult a doctor in time to find out the causes and treat them accordingly.
