Running generally does not make gallbladder polyps disappear. If gallbladder polyps disappear after running, they may be caused by a cholesterol crystal attached to the gallbladder wall or a cholesterol polyp that breaks off at the root.
1. Gallbladder cholesterol polyp: it is a polyp formed when the phagocytes of the gallbladder mucosa swallow too much cholesterol, and the root of the polyp attached to the mucosa is often relatively small, and sometimes it will break off by itself. Of course this condition has nothing to do with running, and the probability of occurrence is not large. However, running is good for maintaining good health.
2. Cholesterol crystals: Sometimes polyps diagnosed on imaging are cholesterol crystals or small stones attached to the wall of the gallbladder, which may fall off and dissolve or drain out on their own. Exercise such as running does have the potential to promote the shedding of such crystals or small stones.
When a gallbladder polyp is found to have disappeared, there is usually no cause for concern if there are no other uncomfortable symptoms, such as abdominal pain, anorexia of greasy food, jaundice, fever, etc., and no obstruction has occurred after diagnosis by a doctor.
However, if uncomfortable symptoms occur, it may happen that the dislodged polyps or cholesterol crystals appear to block the bile ducts or pancreatic ducts, in which case it is necessary to go to the hospital in time and take effective measures under the guidance of the doctor.
Although running has no direct effect on polyp control, it helps to keep the body in a relatively good metabolic state and should still be adhered to.
