How to treat myopic eyes

The treatment of myopia mainly consists of developing good eye habits to stop the growth of myopia and correcting myopia. In preventing and controlling the growth of myopia, myopic patients play an important role in developing good eye habits. Patients should usually do more outdoor exercise, minimize the time of near eye use, and strictly control the time of using electronic products such as tablets, cell phones and computers. The ways to correct myopia include two major categories: surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment. Surgical treatment is suitable for adult myopic patients, with corneal laser surgery and posterior chamber IOL implantation for crystalline eyes as the mainstay. Non-surgical methods are suitable for patients of all ages, with frame glasses and corneal reshaping lenses being the most common. Teenagers with myopia can wear corneal reshaping lenses to correct myopia while controlling myopia progression. Myopia patients are advised to consult a doctor in time to assess their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to choose the appropriate treatment.
