What happened to the black spots on the lips?

There are many reasons for black spots on lips, mainly caused by pigmentation, hormone level disorder, melanoma, hemangioma, etc. Some gastrointestinal diseases may also show abnormal local color of lips. For example, black spots on lips exist since before puberty, and similar pigmentation black spots exist in other parts of the body, which are also commonly known as freckles and moles, but these black spots do not have any uncomfortable symptoms and basically will not become malignant. Dark spots caused by hormonal disorders are usually found in women, mainly due to abnormal hormonal levels in the body caused by childbirth and menopause, etc. These dark spots are usually diffuse, with different sizes and unclear borders, and can basically fade away after hormonal levels return to normal. Melanoma black spots are usually black elevated patches, hairless and dark red and black, with no obvious symptoms at the beginning, but satellite nevi and rupture may appear at the later stage. The color of black spots of hemangioma is relatively bright, and the color can fade or even disappear after pressing. Most of the black spots on lips are benign lesions, and a few of them are malignant melanoma. If there is no obvious cause for the appearance of black spots, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to avoid delaying the treatment.
