Segmental mild radiolucent shadows are seen in part of the bowel and are a finding shown on PET-CT. PET-CT is a radionuclide test that may show segmental mild radiolucent shadows when examining intestinal tissue. This condition may be caused by inflammation or tumors in the intestines, or it may be seen in the case of intestinal diverticula, which needs to be judged in conjunction with the patient’s specific symptoms, and further tests such as a colonoscopy may be done to clarify the diagnosis if necessary. PET-CT examination found that part of the intestinal tract can be seen segmental mild radioactive uptake shadow, if there is no obvious discomfort symptoms, can be regularly reviewed and actively observed, if abdominal pain, blood in the stool, diarrhea and other discomfort symptoms continue to worsen, it is best to consult a doctor in a timely manner to check, and receive regular treatment.
