Fleas usually do not bite just one person. If fleas do exist in the home, all living members of the family will feel itchy skin and bumps, and some patients with more delicate skin may also find small insect bite marks. If only one person in the family has recurrent itchy skin and red bumps, the occurrence of skin allergies should be highly considered. This condition should be urticaria, which can be treated with oral antihistamines such as loratadine, cetirizine, paracetamol, epalmatine tablets, and also tretinoin ointment with glyburide lotion applied to the skin surface to relieve the itching sensation. If the patient continues to experience this condition repeatedly after taking the medication, it is best to go to the hospital to check for allergens.
