Low back pain can be diagnosed by ultrasound, X-ray, CT and MRI.
1. Ultrasound: Lumbar pain can be diagnosed by ultrasound to find out the cause, such as ureteral stone, urinary tract infection or pelvic effusion, appendicitis can cause low back symptoms.
2. X-ray: through X-ray examination, we can see whether there are degenerative changes in the lumbar spine, such as osteophytes in the lumbar spine, whether the lumbar vertebral spine gap has become narrower, whether the lumbar spine is unstable and slipped, as well as whether there are stones in the abdominal urinary system that lead to low back pain, and so on.
3.CT: It can diagnose lumbar disc herniation, fracture, osteoporosis and so on through lumbar spine scanning to understand the specific bone condition.
4. MRI: It can check the lesions and changes in the soft tissues of the lumbar region as well as the spinal cord and nerve roots in the spinal canal, and can also show herniated intervertebral discs, calcification of the ligamentum flavum, and so on.
