Paraffin rapid pathology testing: this kind of rapid pathology testing is mostly used for small pathological specimens, such as cervical biopsy specimens, gastrointestinal microscopy biopsy specimens, etc., and its filming effect is close to that of routine pathology testing specimens, with a relatively high accuracy rate. Paraffin rapid pathology testing and conventional paraffin pathology testing, compared with the time-sensitive, usually within 24 hours to send a test report.
2. Frozen rapid pathology testing: this kind of rapid pathology testing is mostly used in the surgical process, usually need to issue a test report within 30 minutes, by the limitation of the timeliness, the system effect is relatively poor, and the number of rapid sectioning of the material is limited, there is a certain degree of misdiagnosis, leakage rate, the accuracy of its compared to the conventional pathology is a little lower.
If the results of rapid pathology tests do not match the results of conventional pathology tests, the results of postoperative conventional pathology tests usually prevail.
