Tightening after liposuction on both sides of the chin usually requires one to three sessions. The exact number of treatments will depend on the patient’s prognosis for recovery and the accumulation of fat in the chin area. If the results of one treatment are not satisfactory, another liposuction treatment can be performed under the supervision of a doctor. Chin liposuction is accomplished through facial liposuction surgery; by making a small segmental incision in a more hidden part of the face, usually 2 to 3 millimeters in length, and then inserting a liposuction surgical instrument into the incision, which then seeps into the subcutaneous fat layer and uniformly suctions the subcutaneous fat tissue. If a patient has a relatively small accumulation of fat under the chin and recovers well from the procedure, one liposuction session is usually sufficient; if there is a deep accumulation of fat under the chin, two to three treatments are usually required. When the results of chin liposuction are not satisfactory, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital in time for another improvement treatment under the guidance of a professional doctor after an interview.
