Proper use of semi-quantitative test strips

Semi-quantitative test strips are usually ovulation semi-quantitative test strips. The correct way to use the test paper is to invade the urine with the end pointed by the arrow, keep it for 30 seconds and then take it out and lay it flat. at 18 minutes observe the color band in the middle of the test paper and record the result every day. Once the measured value is greater than 20 IU/L, you can retest at an interval of 4 hours. If the value of the test remains the same or starts to decrease, it means that ovulation will occur within 24 hours. Using a 28-day menstrual cycle as a standard, then monitoring begins on the 12th day of menstruation, and if the menstrual cycle is 29 days, the test begins on the 13th day, and so on, with 10 days as a measurement cycle. From the start of the test, it needs to be done at a relatively regular time of the day and avoid using the first urine in the morning, and you should not drink a lot of water or urinate for 4 hours before the test. If ovulation is detected and there is a need to get pregnant, you can have intercourse during this period, and you can take a urine test or check HCG and progesterone in the hospital after 2-3 weeks to make sure whether you are pregnant or not, and you should follow the doctor’s instructions to carry out the relevant examinations and medication after you are pregnant.
