Strabismus can be tested by corneal reflectometry, synoptics, and prism plus cover.
1. Corneal Reflectometry: A light is placed directly in front of the examinee. If the corneal light reflection point is located in the center of the pupil, it can indicate that the patient does not have strabismus. If the reflection point is located at the edge of the pupil, or between the pupil and corneal limbus, or at the edge of the cornea, the patient has strabismus.
2. Simultaneous vision examination method: the examinee moves the lens barrel until the two images coincide or cannot coincide in any case, and the result is judged according to whether they coincide or not, and the number of degrees indicated by the scale of the simultaneous vision machine at the time of coinciding.
3. Trigonometry plus cover method: place the trigonometry in front of the eye, gradually increase the degree, and observe the corneal reflection point of the strabismus, when the strabismus is shifted to the center from the temporal side, or the nasal side, the degree of trigonometry obtained will be the degree of strabismus.
Patients with strabismus should go to regular hospitals in time, and do targeted treatment only under the guidance of professional doctors.
