Hemoglobin 96g/L is not normal. Hemoglobin 96g/L belongs to mild reduction of hemoglobin because the normal adult male hemoglobin concentration is 120-160g/L and adult female is 110-150g/L, so hemoglobin 96g/L belongs to mild reduction of hemoglobin, which is mild anemia. Clinically, the patient will have mild pallor, dizziness, headache, and weakness, and some patients may experience panic and chest tightness and limb weakness after activity, so hemoglobin 96g/L often requires clinical treatment. To treat anemia, the cause of anemia should be clarified and then different treatment methods should be adopted. For example, for patients with iron deficiency anemia, the most effective method is to give iron supplementation treatment. For patients with megaloblastic anemia, the most effective treatment is folic acid and vitamin B12 supplementation. For patients with hemolytic anemia, the preferred drug is glucocorticoids; if hormone therapy is not effective, splenectomy can also be applied as a treatment.
