Limited emphysema is detected during physical examination and does not require special treatment. Patients can be advised to quit smoking if they are long-term smokers, and long-term home oxygen therapy is recommended if accompanied by varying degrees of decreased lung function. In conclusion, emphysema in the upper lobe of the left lung is not serious and is a mild CT manifestation.
