What’s wrong with pain after intercourse?

Pain after coitus is mainly closely related to mucosal injury and inflammation. The most common causes for women include vaginal inflammation, mucosal tearing and pelvic inflammation; the most common causes for men include glans inflammation, penile contusion and prostatitis.
1. Causes of pain in women:
(1) vaginal inflammation: vaginal inflammation itself, in the process of coital contact, because the local mucous membrane is stimulated, it will cause pain and discomfort symptoms.
(2) mucous membrane tear: too violent coitus, may lead to mucous membrane tear, will also cause related symptoms, especially in the case of low secretion coitus, more likely to aggravate related symptoms.
(3) Pelvic inflammatory disease: Pelvic inflammatory disease itself, in the process of coitus contact, because of the local contraction of peristalsis, will also cause the production of related symptoms.
2. Male pain causes:
(1) glans inflammation: itself has glans inflammation, the process of coitus caused friction stimulation, caused by mucosal damage, it will lead to pain and discomfort.
(2) penile contusion: too strenuous or poor posture causes penile contusion, will cause pain and discomfort.
(3) prostatitis: prostatitis, in congestion and edema, because the local reflux condition is abnormal, will cause local stimulation leading to pain and discomfort symptoms.
