Are there benign pancreatic head tumors?

There are benign tumors in the pancreas, such as lipoma, fibroma, islet cell tumor and cystic tumor of the pancreas. However, once a pancreatic tumor is found, surgery is needed as soon as possible because a significant portion of tumors found in the pancreas are malignant tumors. If the tumor is malignant, further treatment is needed, as well as observation of whether it has accumulated to other tissues or whether it has metastasis or spread. The pancreatic tumor is also benign, but we should pay high attention to whether the pancreatic tumor is malignant. Once the pancreatic tumor is diagnosed as malignant, we still need to actively treat the pancreatic tumor, because the pancreas is a fragile organ, once necrosis occurs, it may be irreversible, so we should pay high attention to the pancreatic tumor.
