Can a leukorrhea test detect cervical cancer?

A leukorrhea test cannot detect cervical cancer. Leukorrhea test is mainly to check the vaginal secretion, to know whether there is any pathogenic bacteria infection, to know the cleanliness of vagina, whether there is Candida, Trichomonas, bacterial vaginosis, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, and it can not find out whether there is cervical cancer or not. Cervical cancer screening requires HPV testing and TCT, which are combined to give a comprehensive analysis. If there is a high-risk HPV infection, further examination is needed, such as colposcopy, to find out whether there are lesions on the cervical epithelium. It is recommended that women should have a gynecological examination once a year to find out whether there is inflammation, cervical cancer, and to find out whether there are pelvic tumors, which is very necessary, preferably within 3-7 days of menstrual cleansing.
