Colon cancer T3N0M0 belongs to stage IIA, generally patients do not need chemotherapy, only some patients with high risk of recurrence and metastasis need to be given chemotherapy. The high-risk factors for recurrence and metastasis of colon cancer T3N0M0 include the number of lymph nodes cleared during surgery is less than 12, the patient’s postoperative pathology is low-differentiated cancer, the patient has had complications such as perforation or intestinal obstruction before surgery, the postoperative pathology suggests that there is vascular-lymphatic or nerve invasion in the lesion, and the postoperative pathology and immunohistochemistry suggests that there are factors with poor prognosis, and so on. If a patient with T3N0M0 stage colon cancer has any of the above high-risk factors, the patient needs to be given 8 to 12 cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery.
