At present, the treatment of cerebral palsy at home and abroad generally adopts the U.S. Tampopo-Durman method, the British Baubasis method, the German Voytek method, and the Hungarian Guided Education with Tor, etc. Although domestic Chinese acupuncture and massage and forced training can be effective to a certain extent, they bring great pain to the children. Among them, the new therapy of “one-time orthopedic surgery for the sequelae of pediatric cerebral palsy” is scientific and systematic, and also permanent, which lays the foundation for the functional rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, creates the conditions for standing and walking, and at the same time plays a role in the comprehensive development and functional training of the brain. One-time orthopedic surgery for pediatric cerebral palsy is unique in its efficacy: 1. The surgery of multiple limbs and parts is completed at one time, with small incisions, little bleeding, no blood transfusion, little pain, and no side effects or sequelae. 2. The deformity correction is complete and thorough, and the overall function recovery is fast, with obvious results in one week and general hospitalization for about one month. 3, because the surgery used in the key, broken the paralyzed devil throat; after surgery with Chinese medicine to restore brain function, no recurrence. 4.The surgery is successful once, avoiding multiple treatments and greatly reducing the economic burden of patients and families. 5.The deformity of non-surgical parts can also be corrected. This is because, the lower limb deformity, the patient is forced to take a special posture of the upper limb in order to make the body balance, that is, the deformity of the upper limb is a pseudo-deformity, when the lower limb deformity is corrected, the upper limb deformity will be naturally reduced or disappeared; after the disappearance of the limb deformity various parts of the muscles such as eye muscles exert normal force, so strabismus will disappear with it; language disorder can also be improved after limb surgery, the principle is the same as above. We have created a comprehensive and successful surgical plan for the treatment of pediatric cerebral palsy in more than ten years of clinical practice. That is, using the principle of O&M, all surgeries of both lower limbs and one upper limb can be completed in a short period of time in multiple parts at one time. Because the brain tissue lesions of pediatric cerebral palsy patients are non-progressive lesions (i.e., they generally do not develop), the symptoms left on the limbs are limb deformities caused by muscle force imbalance, which destroy the force lines of the limbs to make their functions seriously impaired. The scientific approach to this disorder – surgery to correct the deformity, balance the muscle force and restore the line of force. This is a surgical method to complete the surgery of multiple limbs and parts at one time, so that the deformed limbs can be corrected at one time, restore the balance of muscle force, and make their functions coordinate with each other to achieve the desired effect. Surgical features: balance muscle strength → release spasm → correct deformity → restore function.
