Jaundice is 12.5, and if the unit is μmol/L, this value is normal. There are two normal ranges of jaundice in our hospital, one standard is 0-17 μmol/L, the other is 0-20 μmol/L, it depends on which reagent is used for each test, no matter which reference range, 12.5 μmol/L is normal, the clinic, if you are not assured, you can recheck your liver function after a week or so. If the liver function is also in the normal range, there is no need to worry. If jaundice persists or has a tendency to increase, the clinic has to look for the cause, the most common cause is infectious liver disease, such as hepatitis B, hepatitis A, etc. Pharmacologic hepatitis is also a common cause.
