The simple way to find the location of the Quchi acupoint is that when the elbow is extremely bent, the Quchi acupoint is located in the depression at the radial end of the transverse line of the elbow.
Qu Chi point belongs to the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian. It is located in the elbow area, at the midpoint of the line connecting the ulnar ze and the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. It has the effect of clearing heat and dispelling wind, harmonizing the camp and blood, and descending the rebellious and activating the collaterals. Quchi acupoint is mainly used to treat sore throat, toothache, eye pain, scrofula (mainly refers to cervical lymph node tuberculosis), abdominal pain and vomiting and diarrhea.
Clinically, when treating upper limb diseases, Quchi point can be used together with Sanli point of the hand, Wuli point of the hand, Brahmai point, Yaoli point, Hegu point, etc. It should be noted that if acupuncture is needed, it is not necessary to use the Quchi point.
