1, cerebral palsy is bad brain, is intellectual disability Cerebral palsy is mainly manifested as motor disorders, but at the same time often accompanied by some other disorders common for mental retardation, epilepsy, behavior and perceptual disorders. Some children only have motor dysfunction, while others have symptoms such as mental retardation and epilepsy in addition to motor dysfunction. The complications associated with cerebral palsy vary from child to child, so it cannot be simply assumed that a child with cerebral palsy is mentally retarded. Cerebral palsy is a brain injury caused at birth. We know from the definition of pediatric cerebral palsy that it refers to non-progressive brain injury caused by various reasons before birth to one month after birth. Risk factors for cerebral palsy include: (1) fetal factors, such as genetic factors, maternal factors, and fetal factors; (2) risk factors at birth, such as neonatal asphyxia and birth injuries; and (3) neonatal factors, such as prematurity and low birth weight, neonatal encephalopathy, and central nervous system infections. Thus, cerebral palsy does not only occur at birth, but should be paid special attention during pregnancy until after birth. Cerebral palsy is not curable. The human brain has plasticity, that is, neurons and neurons can establish new contact with each other through axons and dendrites, resume excitation transmission and play compensatory functions. Therefore, the plasticity of the brain during this period is large, and the compensatory capacity is high and the recovery ability is strong. However, in general, since brain cells cannot be regenerated after damage, even if the function is fully recovered, it will cause more or less sequelae. However, in fact, the goal of our treatment for children with cerebral palsy is to normalize their functions as much as possible, so that they can take care of themselves, attend school, earn their own living and return to society. Therefore, we must insist on the treatment of children with cerebral palsy. 4. Cerebral palsy can be cured in a short period of time Pediatric cerebral palsy is different from pneumonia and colds in pediatrics, and it cannot be cured by taking medicine or giving injections. Cerebral palsy is a disease that can be cured by medical treatment in the short term, although the lesions are not ongoing and cause the development of movement and posture to progress to abnormal aspects, and even complications such as intelligence and language. Therefore, we must insist on long-term or even lifelong rehabilitation training for the child. After surgery, there is no need for rehabilitation. Surgery only supplements the lack of rehabilitation or creates favorable conditions for rehabilitation. Early motor function training, intellectual language training and prevention of deformities are crucial. It is a mistake of principle to think that surgical treatment can replace rehabilitation. Thus, we must insist on rehabilitation training before and after surgery. 6. Rehabilitation training of cerebral palsy is massage Rehabilitation training of cerebral palsy includes intellectual training, language training, motor function training and self-care ability training, and motor function training is the core of cerebral palsy rehabilitation training. When we conduct motor function training, we can use: (1) physical therapy such as electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, magnetotherapy, phototherapy, etc.; (2) movement therapy including Vojta motor development therapy, Bobath therapy, etc.; (3) occupational therapy; (4) traditional Chinese medicine such as acupuncture, massage, etc. Thus, our rehabilitation training for children with cerebral palsy is not a single training, but a multifaceted and systematic training.
