In the past few months, I often have patients complaining to me, “My mycotic vaginitis has come back, please prescribe me the best and most expensive medicine, as long as it can be cured!” Every time I see their anxious and expectant eyes, I really wish every woman could grasp some basic health care knowledge to reduce the torment of illness. Pseudomonas vulvae – commonly known as mycosis fungoides – is a condition that manifests itself as increased, thick, white tofu-like or curd-like leucorrhea. Itching and burning of the vulva and vagina, painful urination, urgency and frequency of urination. 80% to 90% of the causative organisms are Candida albicans. A variety of bacteria are present in the normal vagina (including Candida), but these flora form an ecological balance with each other and are therefore not pathogenic. Estrogen, lactobacilli and vaginal pH play an important role in maintaining the ecological balance of the vagina. If this balance is disrupted, inflammation can occur. First of all, prevention can be achieved by maintaining the ecological balance of the vagina. 1. Do not be overly hygienic: some patients like to clean the vagina with a douche or by hand. This can damage the weak acid environment of the vagina and the mutual restraint relationship between the genera of bacteria, which is not conducive to the growth of lactobacilli and makes the vaginal epithelium less resistant to disease, causing vaginitis caused by Candida or other bacteria. 2, do not abuse antibiotics: long-term application of a large number of antibiotics will destroy the constraints between vaginal bacteria, so that Candida lose inhibition of excessive growth and cause disease. 3, sexual life should be moderate: if frequent sexual intercourse will make vaginal PH rise (vaginal PH rise to 7.2 and maintain 6~8 hours after sexual intercourse), it is also not conducive to the growth of lactobacillus. 4. Actively treat diabetes, stop using corticosteroids and estrogen in time. Second, isolate the pathogenic bacteria to prevent reinfection. 1, mold resistance to dryness, ultraviolet light and chemical agents, but fear of high temperature. Therefore, it is best to disinfect the changed underwear every day by soaking in hot water above 60°C or boiling. 2, good hygiene habits: before going to the toilet should also wash their hands; do not abuse unclean toilet paper; wipe the vulva after defecation should be wiped from front to back; wash the vulva daily; their own basin, towels for their own use. 3, when using public toilets try to avoid sitting toilet; advocate shower; not directly after the bath sitting on the bathroom chair; not in the poorly disinfected pool swimming. 4, sex, should use condoms to prevent cross-infection and repeated infection between husband and wife. If necessary, the husband also needs to go to the hospital to do the appropriate examination, and if the infection should also be treated. In addition, the resistance of pregnant women is relatively low, the glycogen content of the vagina is higher, and the resistance to mycobacteria is even lower, so it is easy to recur. Therefore, it is more important for pregnant women to control a high sugar diet, maintain a normal blood sugar level, keep their vulva clean and reduce their sex life.
