Premature ventricular tricyclic rhythm is usually defined as one ventricular preterm contraction after every two normal heart beats. There are various causes of premature ventricular tricyclic rhythm, and it can occur in response to drug stimuli, such as the administration of antiarrhythmic drugs. Triptych can also occur as a result of drug stimulation after an overdose of drugs such as digitalis or quinidine. Patients who experience significant rest deprivation, heavy alcohol consumption, strenuous exercise, and excessive fatigue can also contribute to the development of ventricular premature triple rhythms. For obvious coronary heart disease, myocarditis or heart valve disease, hypertensive heart disease, there will also be ventricular premature triple rhythm. Patients may also experience occasional premature ventricular ternary rhythms after some surgical trauma or hemorrhage, among other causes of irritation.
