Shoulder muscle soreness is commonly caused by physiological reasons such as overloading the shoulder, or it may be due to pathologic reasons such as frozen shoulder, cervical spondylosis, etc. There is no so-called quick relief method, and it can be treated and relieved by physical therapy, medication, surgery, and so on.
1. Physiological causes: If the shoulder is overloaded or the amplitude of local movement is too large, it can cause shoulder muscle pain, and adequate rest or local hot compresses can alleviate the symptoms of pain and soreness, and no special treatment is needed.
2. Frozen shoulder: Infection, chronic strain and other factors can lead to frozen shoulder, shoulder muscle pain symptoms. Physiotherapy methods such as ultrashort wave, microwave, infrared ray and oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and diclofenac sodium can be chosen to improve the symptoms of shoulder muscle pain.
3. Cervical spondylosis: cervical disc herniation, spinal stenosis and other lesions can lead to nerve root compression, causing neck and shoulder pain, you can choose non-steroidal drugs such as ibuprofen, meloxicam, and nutritional nerve drugs such as methylcobalamin, vitamin B, etc, to alleviate the symptoms of nerve compression, and in severe cases, surgery should be carried out.
If the symptoms of shoulder muscle pain are not relieved by rest, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital in time to identify the cause of the disease and then carry out targeted treatment. All of the above medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor, avoid self-medication.
