The review time after H. pylori eradication needs to be judged according to the patient’s condition. For patients with precancerous status by gastroscopy and no family history of tumor, the examination can be repeated once every 3 to 5 years after H. pylori eradication; for patients with family history of tumor, the examination can be repeated once every 1 to 2 years. Patients with mild heterogeneous hyperplasia or low-grade neoplasia are usually reviewed 3 to 6 months after H. pylori eradication, and patients with high-grade neoplasia should be reviewed in about 1 to 3 months. After the eradication of H. pylori, it is important to follow the doctor’s instructions and have regular rechecks to avoid recurrence. Meanwhile, pay attention to a light diet, avoid barbecue, alcohol and other stimulating foods, and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits.
