How to tell if your ovaries are functioning properly

Whether ovarian function is normal or not can be judged by clinical manifestations and relevant tests; if everything is normal, ovarian function is good. 1. Clinical manifestations: It can be judged by women’s menstrual cycle, menstrual flow and skin color. If there are symptoms such as low menstrual flow, menopause, dull skin, especially during menopause, and symptoms such as irritability and insomnia, then it indicates that the ovarian function has declined. 2.Related tests: (1) Six items of female sex hormones: such as estrogen, progesterone, androgen, luteinizing hormone, pituitary prolactin, follicle-stimulating hormone, if follicle-stimulating hormone is more than 40U/L it indicates a tendency of declining ovarian function. (2) Müllerian duct inhibitor test: If there is a significant decrease in this test, it means that the ovarian function is not normal. (3) Vaginal ultrasound test: it can be used to determine whether the ovarian function is normal or not through the development and number of follicles in both ovaries. To determine whether the ovarian function is normal or not, it can be judged through relevant examinations and clinical symptoms, and if there is any abnormality, it should be treated promptly.
