Jiawei Free Pill is composed of Angelica sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Mudanensis, Radix Chaihu, Gardenia jasminoides, Poria, Glycyrrhizae radix, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, etc. It can be used for treating the symptoms such as distension and pain of the dorsal ribcage caused by deficiency of the Liver-Qi, Spleen, and Blood, together with the heat.

Ginseng and Spleen Pill is composed of Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, Astragalus, Mucuna pruriens, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, and Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, and can treat insomnia, palpitations, poor appetite, yellowish coloration, and scanty menstruation due to deficiency of qi and blood. Adverse effects are not clear for the time being. It is contraindicated for those who are physically strong and not deficient.
Taking the above two drugs together can help relieve some diseases caused by liver depression, spleen deficiency, Qi and blood deficiency, and internal heat evil. However, drug combinations should be consulted with a doctor and need to be used under doctor’s guidance.
