Different groups of people have different clinical significance of AFP 600, which can be categorized into children, adults, and patients with liver disease. Children with elevated alpha-fetoprotein may have liver cancer, hepatoblastoma and other diseases, adults with elevated alpha-fetoprotein may have primary liver cancer, digestive malignant tumors and other diseases, and patients with liver disease who have elevated alpha-fetoprotein suggests possible hepatocellular necrosis.
1. Children: A fetoprotein of 600 in children may indicate liver cancer, hepatoblastoma, hepatitis, gonadal teratoblastoma and other diseases.
2. Adults: a fetoprotein of 600 in adults suggests the possibility of primary liver cancer, malignant teratoma, stomach cancer, intestinal cancer, lung cancer, testicular cancer, ovarian cancer and other diseases.
3. Patients with liver disease: alpha-fetoprotein 600 in patients with liver disease suggests the degree of necrosis of liver cells, and may also suggest liver cancer.
Patients are suggested to further improve ultrasound, MRI, CT, tumor markers and other related tests and examinations to further clarify the cause of disease, early diagnosis and early treatment.
