Signs and symptoms of eczema in children

Symptoms and manifestations of eczema in children include itchy skin, pimples, irritability, and poor sleep quality.
Children’s eczema is related to poor skin barrier function, heredity, and contact with allergenic foreign substances, etc. Clinically, children’s eczema is categorized into acute, subacute, and chronic phases, and the symptoms will be different. In the acute stage, children will appear dense groups of corn-sized papules, blisters, itching, if the baby scratches the skin will appear vesicles, accompanied by plasma oozing.
In the subacute stage, localized skin manifestations are mainly small papules, white scales, crusts, and also tend to be accompanied by complaints of itching.
In the chronic phase, the skin is thickened and hyperpigmented, and there is a small amount of scaling and paroxysmal itching. At the same time, some children are irritable and have poor sleep quality.
